Milestone Progress

Start Date: 09/09/2025        End Date: 08/09/2026

Quarterly Analysis

Body-Worn Camera Refresh reaches 85% complete, moving from 76% by 9 percentage points quarter over quarter, and remains green. The contract milestone is complete with dueOffsetDays -200, and the patrol division rollout is complete with dueOffsetDays -75, so the program is now in late-stage refinement rather than basic implementation. Evidence-retention policy update remains in-progress with dueOffsetDays 14, which is the final governance item that deserves continued attention before full closeout. The latest work closed gaps in replacement-device staging, supervisor audit queues, and Records redaction workflow for high-volume summer cases.

Recommendations

Sustain the green result by locking the remaining 15% into a closeout checklist covering spare inventory, redaction capacity, policy approval, and final training attestations. Extend the supervisor audit model citywide, with monthly reporting to command staff on activation, upload timeliness, and unresolved evidence exceptions. Prioritize completion of the evidence-retention policy update within the dueOffsetDays 14 window so the refresh finishes with the same procedural integrity it started with.
